Did you know? Midwives do more than catch babies. A Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) specializes in women's health services and offers care to women of all ages and stages of life. Midwives are trained in preconception counseling, fertility/infertility, and GYN concerns. Midwives focus on nutrition and natural ways to balance your health but are also trained in conventional methods.
We focus on building a trusting partnership and consider you part of your healthcare team. We encourage your participation and support your voice in your healthcare decisions. CNMs use the most current evidence with an emphasis on holistic and family-centered care.
CNMs are independent providers and licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. They have prescriptive privileges and are covered under most insurance plans.

What makes Eden Midwifery so unique is the time we take with you. Most of our appointment times allow you an hour so your needs can be fully heard. Additionally, appointments are done in the convenience of your home or our office, whichever you prefer. Whether your appointment is an annual exam or a prenatal appointment we come to you.
