Women's Reproductive and Sexual Health
As midwives we provide care in reproductive and sexual health. These include pelvic exams, pap tests, breast exams, prescribing medications such as birth control, and screening for sexually transmitted infections (STI), thyroid dysfunction and hormonal abnormalities.
Family Planning
We offer a variety of birth control options including IUDS such Mirena, Paraguard, and Skyla. We also offer Nexplanon, Depo shots, contraceptive pills, patches, and rings. If you are interested in more natural methods midwives offer education and counseling.
Sexual Health
Sexual health is an important aspect of a woman's life. Certain conditions can cause discomfort, pain, and may lead to dissatisfaction. Menopause and postpartum can be an especially difficult time for some women. You do not have to suffer in silence. We encourage safe comfortable discussions to identify and treat sexual concerns.
